I once applied for a job at the Taller de Arquitectura and Mr. Ricardo Bofill (1939) never even bothered to answer my letter. I am still a bit pissed off at him about that, but I can not deny that I am a sucker for his (especially early) works. If I were to choose one, I'd go with Xanadu (1968-1971).
